Before you can learn to drive you will need to obtain a provisional driving license. You can apply for this from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). The application form (form D1) can be obtained from your local Post Office.

 

The Theory TestThe Theory Test

The theory test must be passed before you take the practical exam. It is a multiple choice computer test. There is also a Hazard Perception Test. We can advise on the learning materials required and our instructors will be there to advise and provide you with support at every stage. To book the theory test you will need to contact the DVANI on

The final practical exam is also booked with the DVANI. We will let you know when we feel you are ready for your test. www.dvani.gov.uk
